Michigan Legal Services

ACJ reflects on a turbulent year for some in our community who have had to deal with immigration enforcement actions tearing apart their families.  For others, the current political environment raises many open questions about immigration status and other legal issues.

Immigration Legal Assistance

To help folks find answers to some of their questions, ACJ has compiled a list of legal resources for immigration related questions. This includes public resources and private immigration attorneys.

Our gratitude goes to Ramis Wadood, ACLU; Tori Booker, International Institute, and members of ACJ’s Immigration Task Force for their assistance in ACJ efforts.  Here is the link to the immigration attorneys directory:     MICHIGAN IMMIGRATION ATTORNEYS DIRECTORY

Multilingual Legal Assistance

We understand how critical it is to find legal professionals who not only specialize in particular areas of the law but also speak your language and understand your cultural background.

Drawing from the State Bar of Michigan directory, ACJ has compiled a list of private, multilingual attorneys practicing in a variety of legal specialties.  Here is the link to the bilingual attorneys directory:  MICHIGAN BILINGUAL LEGAL SERVICES DIRECTORY

Please note that ACJ is providing these referral lists strictly for informational purposes, and it does not constitute an endorsement of any particular attorney, law firm, or legal services center. These lists are not exhaustive and will be updated as needed.
