WHEN TO SIGNAL

Blow your whistle ONLY if you see:

  • Marked ICE/Immigration vehicles.
  • Agents questioning neighbors in public.
  • Active raids or arrests at home or work.

ACTION STEPS

  • SIGNAL: 3 short blasts.
  • ECHO: If you hear it, repeat it.
  • WATCH: Observe from more than 10ft+.

SAFE PRACTICES

  • DO remain silent if questioned.
  • DO record video if safe, but stay back.
  • DO NOT run; walk calmly to a safe area.
  • DO NOT physically interfere or block agents.

ACJ proudly announces the release of our Take Action on Hate Crimes flyer.  

This two-page document defines what is a hate crime or bias incident, what to do if you are the victim of a hate crime or bias incident, and gives ACJ contact information if assistance is needed.
